About

Thirty years at the intersection of finance, IT, supply chain, and operations, translating between the C-suite's vision and the ground-floor work of making it real.

Legacy compliance replacement

$1.2M cost avoidance

A six-month, 44-state regulatory compliance process was running on end-of-life legacy software, unsupported since 2013, with unmanaged backdoor access to core systems that IT didn't know existed. Replaced with a 15-minute self-service Alteryx application, eliminating both the cost and the buried security risk.

Center of Excellence build

200+ users in under a year

Designed and led a distributed, hub-and-spoke Center of Excellence: shared standards and governance at the center, functional teams retaining ownership of their own analytics. Grew adoption from zero to 200+ Alteryx users in under a year and eliminated 18,000+ hours of manual reporting annually, through embedded champions and a structured, repeatable enablement model.

Hospital budget automation

Days of manual work removed

Rebuilt a hospital's budget process end to end, replacing manual, spreadsheet-driven work with an automated workflow that gave finance leadership a faster, more reliable path from raw numbers to decisions.

Real estate IRR modeling

Faster, repeatable analysis

Built an IRR modeling application for real estate investment analysis, turning a manual, error-prone spreadsheet exercise into a repeatable tool the team could run on its own.

Watermark Data has operated continuously since 2018, built on three decades of hands-on experience across data & analytics, supply chain, budgeting, and operations, work that has consistently landed at the intersection of finance and IT rather than neatly inside either one. That position is deliberate: the biggest gains rarely come from a better chart, they come from rebuilding the process behind it.

That includes serving as Director of Data Services at The General Insurance, leading a team of 7 direct reports and 7-8 more indirectly, and separately as Claims Controller there, growing that reporting team from 1 analyst to 5. Conference presenter at both Alteryx Inspire (four to five times) and the Tableau Conference.
